This circular year calendar layout was originally created to teach children about the year cycle of months, seasons, weather and growth. Now, as a 24" x 36" poster wall calendar, it has become a piece of graphic art. The size of the calendar makes it a perfect wall calendar for the office or kitchen, or as an educational tool for the classroom.
In the classroom, teachers use the Earth Cycle Calendar to teach children about the natural cycles of the year. Elementary children study the sun, the earth, and the moon, to better understand the way the earth is affected in terms of seasons, weather, plant growth, and the phases of the moon. In the photo on the right, they use the Earth Cycle Calendar to view the annual effects of these celestial relationships.
In the home, families use the Earth Cycle Calendar to record birthdays, vacations, and other special events.
